However in New York City, there is a special unit of the FBI that is designed to find them. Rebecca Howard (15) goes missing at an Internet cafe from the home of her care-giving paternal grandfather George, who raised her since her mother's death in a car accident. Her school friend proves innocent, a street kid who made advances was knocked unconscious by an adult, and taken home by a man who turns out to be a municipal beat cop, whom she handcuffed. Grandpa however lied that her mentally ill father Darren was dead, she sought contact in secret.
