When the death of a child and woman come up Malone is called to confirm if the boy is a child who was kidnapped and has been missing for 6 years or not. While investigating this they find out much more. Its revealed that the man who took the child had killed him previously. The man has been looking for his son all this time and had been committing murders along the way. The man finds and kidnaps his son and Malone and Grisom work together to find them.
