A while after Danny learned that his jailed junkie big half-brother Rafael "Rafi" Alvarez took many beatings to protect him as kid from their abuse lush father, the allegedly recovered ex-con suddenly disappears. Jack reluctantly allows Danny to investigate despite obvious objectivity questions. Rafi not only started a new life as car mechanic, he actually expected to take over a garage But his dodgy investor came trough too ate, so the deal was already snatched up by another, leaving Rafi with a debt without income, desperate enough to relapse into his worst habits.
