Evan suffers physical hardship in police academy and mentally now Riley keeps him at arms length. Derek Malloy learns that his battlefield scars aren't scary but make his macho body even sexier. Kyle's lawyer Graham Sandoval, calling a marker in the D.A.'s office, works out a deal to testify against the big fish fence, Riley insists to accept even if she and the kids might be threatened. Catching dale on lies to sneak away, Riley offers Lacey to tail him to prove it isn't an affair, yet both scold him for reviving their high-school band without telling them. Riley talks Lacey in agreeing as it can revive their sex life now her ovulation cycle obsession kills his mood, then gets to sing the lead, but must rush home instead after Katie finds Linette collapsed, relapsed into heavy drinking.
